Wilkes University seeks adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate chemistry laboratory courses beginning in Fall 2026, with possible continuation in Spring 2027.

Laboratory instructors are responsible for:

• Conducting laboratory sessions
• Maintaining a safe laboratory environment
• Guiding students through experimental techniques
• Grading assignments using provided rubrics

Laboratory materials, procedures, and grading guidelines are provided by the department.

Courses may include:

• Organic chemistry laboratories
• General chemistry laboratories

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in chemistry or related field preferred; candidates with significant relevant experience will be considered
• Prior teaching or laboratory experience preferred

This is a part-time, term-based position with the possibility of multiple sections.
