Medical Assistant Position Overview

The Medical Assistant will support clinical operations by efficiently rooming patients, capturing accurate clinical data, and ensuring exam rooms are fully stocked and prepared. This role is high-volume and patient-facing, requiring strong clinical and customer service skills.

• Room 50–70 patients per day in a fast-paced oncology setting
• Record patient vital signs, height, and weight
• Review and document allergies and medication updates
• Perform manual blood pressure measurements as needed
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms
• Order and maintain clinical supplies

• Medical assisting
• Oncology experience (preferred)
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
• Patient rooming
• Medical terminology
• Customer service
• Administrative support
• Phlebotomy

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Active Medical Assistant certification required
• Ability to perform manual blood pressure readings
• Experience working in high-volume environments

• Mid Level (2+ years MA experience required)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conroe, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
