Job Description Advanced Chairside Assisting: Execute seamless four-handed dentistry alongside the dentist during complex procedures across restorations, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Digital Diagnostics & Imaging: Confidently operate advanced medical imaging equipment, including 3D oral scanners and digital X-ray systems, to support highly precise diagnoses.
Clinical Documentation & Tech: Maintain meticulous electronic medical records (EMR) across platforms like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic, ensuring flawless entry of treatment plans, medical history, and clinical documentation.
Patient Comfort & Monitoring: Assess patient comfort, explain intricate dental and medical terminology in patient-friendly language, and monitor vital signs throughout treatment.
Sterilization & Compliance: Command strict infection control protocols, utilizing aseptic techniques to prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and strictly adhere to HIPAA and safety regulations.
Cross-Functional Team Support: Boost overall practice flow by assisting the front desk team with medical scheduling, insurance verification, and smooth patient transitions when needed.
full-time $25 - $35 per hour

Requirements Experience & Licensure: Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with valid EFDA certification/credentials in the State of Indiana.
Software & Technical Savvy: Familiarity with major dental/medical software ecosystems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic) and comfort handling high-tech 3D scanners.
Clinical Knowledge: Strong grasp of dental anatomy, medical terminology, pediatric dentistry principles, and basic medical coding for billing accuracy.
Compliance Mindset: Deep commitment to maintaining absolute HIPAA standards for patient privacy and strict adherence to OSHA/aseptic protocols.
Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, an adaptable team-first attitude, and a warm, comforting chairside manner.
