Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair cut, trimming, and styling for various breeds of dogs.
• Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, pet behavior, and any concerns observed during grooming sessions.
• Provide additional services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing as requested by clients.
• Handle pets safely and compassionately during grooming sessions, ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
• Assist in managing appointments and maintaining accurate records of services provided.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive environment for both pets and their owners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dog grooming with minimum 1 year working experience
• Knowledge of various dog breeds, grooming techniques, and pet care practices is essential.
• Experience in kennel management or as a veterinary technician is a plus.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting when managing larger breeds or equipment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs.
